We are WithYou. It’s not just our name, it’s who we are

‘WithYou’ is a statement of intent, of support, and of our commitment to work side-by-side with people as equal partners, to help them believe that the change they want to make is possible.

Every member of our team has a story to tell and a part to play.

Whether we’re working on the frontline with our clients as Recovery Workers or as part of our Central Services team, we all work together to support people who use our services to achieve their goals.

A supportive community, not just a workplace

At WithYou, it's not just about the job - it's about the people. We've built a supportive environment where everyone is valued, and together, we make a real difference.

We grow together

Everyone's journey matters here. Our team members have discovered new passions, developed their skills, and advanced their careers all while working in our organisation.

Dynamic roles, diverse opportunities

Every day brings new challenges and opportunities. From delivering group sessions to one-on-one support, our staff enjoy the flexibility to engage with diverse projects and clients.

Inclusive, warm and welcoming

"Working at WithYou is great. The core ethos is inclusive, and everyone is warm and welcoming - I've never been looked at any differently. It’s nice to know that the clients that we get through can be supported in the right way. I always feel like I'm listened to and not just ‘heard’. Opinions are acknowledged and valued. Because of this, we’re able to collaborate to make positive change. That’s just the kind of organisation that WithYou is."

Personal growth and wellbeing

"I oversee partnership working and our connections within Shropshire's recovery community. It's imperative for people in recovery to have access to positive connections. It is a privilege to play a role in the development of this within an organisation that prioritises both the growth of its staff and the wellbeing of those we serve."

From recovery worker to director

"I've held various roles during my time here, starting as a Recovery Worker and progressing to a Team Leader, Service Manager, Contracts Manager, and now I'm the Director of Service Delivery for Scotland. When I started in 2010, I had two children, and now I have four. As a working mother, I feel especially proud of how my career has developed."

An opportunity-rich community

"I started as a Learning Content Designer and quickly found myself loving the organisation and my team. What makes WithYou special is the sense of opportunity it radiates – a feeling that has shaped my journey here. With an extension on my contract, I embraced the chance to apply for a leadership role within the Learning and Development team.

"It's not just about the work; it's about the people and the shared commitment to making a difference. WithYou is more than an organisation; it's an opportunity-rich community where individual and collective achievements are celebrated."

Driven by personal experience

"I've always been drawn towards services that focus on supporting and empowering clients, rather than telling people what they need to achieve, as I saw this often set people up for failure.

"I then had the experience of supporting my partner at the time who was struggling with alcohol use. It gave me a personal insight into the work that our sector does, and motivated me to apply. I feel really passionate about collaborative working with clients, and that's something we really excel at here at WithYou."
