We’re delighted to launch our national partnership with Bird & Blend Tea Co. with a pop-up event in their Glasgow store.
Bird & Blend Tea Co. chose WithYou as their ChariTEA for January - March 2026. All online proceeds from their tea blend Duvet Day will be donated directly to WithYou.
At the event, the team created a calm, welcoming space for people to drop in, enjoy a cup of tea, and learn about the support we offer across the city. WithYou in Glasgow staff were on hand to chat to visitors about recovery, rest, and the importance of taking things one step at a time.
We chose Duvet Day because not every day is for productivity - some are for recovery.
Many of the clients we support are learning how to slow down and be kind to themselves again. Recovery isn’t linear, and sometimes the first step isn’t big, it’s gentle. Whether someone is looking for information, to make small changes, or to stop alcohol or drugs altogether, we’re with them.

We’re working towards a future free from harm caused by alcohol and drugs, and a key part of that is making sure anyone seeking help feels welcomed, not judged.
The pop-up at Bird and Blend Tea Co.’s store was a brilliant opportunity to have relaxed conversations with people about recovery in a calm, welcoming setting. Over a cuppa our staff chatted to shoppers about why rest is important in recovery, and what recovery and slowing down look like to them.
Reina Edmiston, head of strategic income, said:
“Collaboration’s like these are brilliant, because they help to reduce stigma and explain to people what recovery really looks like. Sometimes all it takes is a conversation over a cup of tea.”
The partnership is running January - March 2026, and during that time all online sales of the tea blend Duvet Day will be donated directly to WithYou - supporting people across England and Scotland.
