WithYou celebrates opening of new service in Grangetown, Redcar & Cleveland

Last week we were thrilled to officially open our new WithYou service in the Grangetown area — a welcoming, accessible space for our staff, clients and partners across Redcar and Cleveland.

This new base means so much to us. It’s a place where people can feel safe, supported and connected. It gives us the opportunity to host more groups and activities, and to reach even more adults and young people across the local community who may need our advice, guidance and support.

Our launch event was a fantastic celebration, filled with learning, connection and creativity, including:

• Harm reduction sessions, including naloxone training, alcohol and drug awareness and safety

• An incredible sound bath experience and a hands-on clay session

• Delicious food and refreshments kindly provided by partner Recovery Connections and supported by Greggs

• Seed planting in our newly refurbished courtyard, made possible thanks to generous donations

We were delighted to welcome colleagues from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Middlesborough Council, our THRIVE partners (Harbour and Intuitive Thinking Skills, and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland - among many more.

This event marked more than the opening of a building. It was a celebration of community, partnership and the start of a new era for WithYou across Redcar and Cleveland, and one where we continue working together to end stigma, reduce harm and support more people to live their lives. We can’t wait to welcome even more of the community into this space.
