Families Plus in East Dunbartonshire

Families Plus in East Dunbartonshire work with families of children under 11 who are affected by their parents’ drinking or drug use. Our experienced project workers work with the whole family to improve their health and wellbeing.

Every family supported by Families Plus in East Dunbartonshire has a tailored recovery plan. Plans include practical ways to help families move forward and make positive choices for themselves.

Among other things, our project workers can support families with:

• harm reduction
• relapse prevention
• anger management
• managing stress, depression and anxiety
• parenting advice

Families Plus in East Dunbartonshire accepts referrals from social workers, recovery workers, health visitors, midwives, GPs and other agencies supporting vulnerable women and families.

Families are also welcome to refer themselves.
