Mind and Body in Kent
We Are With You’s Mind and Body programme helps young people explore and better manage the thoughts and behaviours associated with self-harm.
Mind and Body is run in secondary schools and in community settings.
It delivers early intervention support for young people aged 13 to 17 who are involved in or considered vulnerable to self-harming behaviours.
Mind and Body is delivered to small groups of young people, helping them reduce feelings of stigma and isolation as they work alongside other young people who’ve experienced similar issues.
Talking together helps young people understand that they aren’t alone and allows them to explore positive ways to manage their thoughts and behaviours.
Mind and Body also offers support for parents and carers of young people who attend the programme.
You can see an independent evaluation of the Mind and Body programme by the University of Bath on our research page
Please get in touch if you would like to refer a young person into our community service or to request support in your school.
