Our trustees

Our Board of Trustees is collectively responsible for the governance and strategic direction of the organisation, and holds legal liability to ensure the charity's governance and resources are managed adequately.

Anne Chapman - Chair

Anne is a solicitor and vice chair of the governing board of the Chartered Institute of Housing. She has chaired two NHS trusts and held board positions for charities and school governing bodies. Anne was a trustee of KCA prior to the merger with With You.

Ron Finlay

Ron is a communications consultant, and was previously Chief Executive of a national body tackling problem gambling. He has directed government public health programmes on smoking, alcohol and drugs. He is currently on the Independent Complaints Panel of the Portman Group, reviewing the marketing of alcohol.

Jeremy Fish

Jeremy works in the construction industry as CEO of Ardent Hire Solutions. He was previously vice chair of youth development charity, Raleigh International.

Richard Gould

Richard is CEO of the England Cricket Board (ECB). He joined the ECB from Bristol City Football Club, where he was CEO. Prior to that, he was CEO at Somerset County Cricket Club for 6 years and then Surrey County Cricket Club for 10 years. Before his corporate career, he served as an officer with the Royal Tank Regiment, leaving the British Army as a Major.

Nicola Roseman

Nicola has 20 years of international experience in the banking industry and a successful background providing financial services to the manufacturing sector and government institutions. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Nicola has held a senior leadership role within the LGBTI+ Ally network, and has worked with Community Business to share work undertaken by a global bank in Asia on transgender policies.  Nicola is also a mentor in The Women’s Foundation Program.

Harpreet Sarna

Harpreet is an experienced healthcare leader with a passion for ensuring safe, inclusive, accessible and value-based care. He has worked in clinical practice, healthcare risk and litigation, life sciences, and medical insurance, in a career that has spanned the UK, Republic of Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

Neera Dholakia - Vice-Chair

Neera is a GP working in NHS general practice and as a clinical lead for mental health and safeguarding in North West London ICS. She also works for Lemonaid Health providing mental health expertise and safeguarding advice to Boots Online Doctor service. Her previous roles include mental health commissioning, prison medicine, primary care lead for personality disorder for NHS England and chair of the pan-London safeguarding children GP network.

Karen Shawhan

Karen is a committed and value-led educator, facilitator and coach with senior health and care experience. Her career has spanned over 30 years, initially working as a clinician before moving into leadership and management roles, and more recently in leadership development and education. She is currently Programme Director for a Senior Leader Apprenticeship in Healthcare Leadership.

Melinda Knatchbull

Melinda is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales. She has over 25 years of experience in finance, investment management and real estate sectors, latterly holding positions of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer in several companies. Melinda has had a high level of exposure to technology, project implementation, regulatory and governance matters whilst experienced in managing a wide range of stakeholders.

Ian Bull

Ian comes from a finance and operational background and has over 15 years as CFO for a range of retail-focused companies. Today, Ian is a non-executive director at FTSE 250 companies, including Dominos and Dunelm. He feels strongly about the current suffering across the UK, with the cost of living and mental health crisis, and the need to support those within society who are struggling. This includes a particular passion for helping to solve the challenges many young people are facing today.
