We provide free and confidential drug and alcohol support across Wigan and Leigh. In partnership with BAC O'Connor and Wigan Council, we offer one to one support, recovery groups and community support for every step of your recovery journey.

Ready to access our support?

We work with partners across 14 neighbourhoods in Wigan and Leigh to ensure we can meet you, wherever you are.

Our services are completely free and we’ll work with you on your own goals, whether that’s cutting down your drug or alcohol use, stopping completely, or just getting a bit of advice.

 

Find your nearest drop-in support

We are here for you with ongoing support at more than 40 venues across Wigan and Leigh. If you need immediate support and an assessment, please look at the drop-in options below to find the most convenient community venue for you.

  • WithYou in Wigan, Coops Business Centre, WN1 1HR.
    Our team is on-site for drop-in support on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am to 3:00pm, and Fridays at 9:30am to 12:30pm.

You're always welcome at our community venues and there's no need to make an appointment. Just turn up during our drop-in times and our friendly team will be there to support you. 

  • The Brickworks (Homeless Support), Wigan, WN3 4EN.
    Our Rough Sleeper Team is available on-site for assessments and one-to-one appointments Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm to assist anyone in need of support.

  • WithYou in Leigh, Kennedy House, WN7 2PJ.
    Our team is on-site for drop-in support on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am to 3:00pm, and Fridays at 9:30am to 12:30pm. 

  • Leigh Family Hub, WN7 1XL.
    Our team is on-site for drop-in support on Tuesdays at 9:00am to 1:00pm.

  • Atherton Salvation Army, 6-8 George Street, Atherton, M46 0EL.
    Our team is on-site on Mondays for drop-in sessions and support, 9:30am to 11:00am. No appointment needed, just turn up. 

  • The Greengrass Centre, 49-51 Spa Road, Hagfold, M46 9R.
    Our team is on-site Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9am to 5pm for one-to-one support. No appointment needed, just turn up.

  • Sunshine House, Wellington Street, WN1 3SA.
    Our team is on-site for drop-in support every Thursday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. No appointment needed, just turn up.

How to access our services

We're here to meet you however you feel comfortable. You can drop in for an assessment, book a phone appointment, or start an online referral. Appointments can take place at our office, online, or in the local community.

There’s no need to phone ahead or make an appointment - just turn up and our trained experts can complete an assessment there and then. 

If you live in Wigan:

Drop-in and see us at Coops Business Centre, Dorning Street, Wigan, WN1 1HR on: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9.30am - 3pm, Fridays: 9.30am - 12:30pm.

If you live in Leigh:

Drop-in and see us at Kennedy House, Brunswick Street, Leigh, WN7 2PJ on: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 9.30am - 3pm, Fridays: 9.30am - 12:30pm. 

Join our online ketamine support group

Whether you've recently stopped or you'd like to cut down - our weekly online support group is a safe, non-judgemental space to talk, get advice, and connect with people who get it. Every Thursday 5:30pm - 6:30pm
